As a Neurosurgeon what do I wish to give to my Patients

Today I was pondering on this question and I was asking myself what I tried to give my patients most. I always want my patients to know about their illnesses, and promote preventive care measures sp that they don’t need my services at all. A good Doctor always wants to devise ways and means for creating a healthier society. I always wish to bridge the gap between scientific understanding and common public perception about a disease. It’s very important part of medical advice. Just prescribing medicines or doing surgery doesn’t suffice. The patient should be able to understand the disease and take steps to modify his / her lifestyle to prevent the disease.
